“Chunnie-ah” Junsu whined, climbing on to the king size bed toward the giant lump that was his boyfriend huddling under the comforter in the middle of the bed. Hearing no response, Junsu joined his lover under the thick white comforter and began to cuddle up to the older man. “Come on, we still have some free time before we have to head off to the airport.”
“I don’t want to.” Yoochun grumbled, buried himself deeper into the comfort of their bed, ignoring the warmth radiated from Junsu’s body and the younger man’s hand rubbing his stomach soothingly.
Didn’t want to take no for an answer, Junsu began to placed lingering kisses along Yoochun’s shoulder and neck, knowing that soon his lover would eventually gave in to him. And Junsu was right as always because a couple of seconds later, Yoochun gave out a tired sigh as he turned facing Junsu and buried his face into Junsu’s sturdy chest.
“I’m tired, Su-ah.” Yoochun mumbled. “Can I just sleep?”
“But, Baby-ah, you can sleep on the plane.” Junsu insisted, placing butterfly kisses on Yoochun’s messy brown locks. “Please, I won’t take no for an answer.”
Yoochun lifted his head and stared at his over enthusiastic boyfriend, and nodded. “An hour, that’s all I’m giving you.”
“Yes, Yes.” Junsu nodded his head excitingly before dragging Yoochun out of bed.
If Yoochun wasn’t so exhausted, he would have laughed at Junsu the moment they stepped into the pool area. Junsu had been so excited that he had actually ran and did a cannon ball into the calm water, creating a ripple effect of water to spill out from the edges. Junsu had called their staff earlier asking (more like demanding) for the pool to be clear out, since he wanted to spend time alone with his boyfriend.
Yoochun was glad that the hotel they were staying in was nice enough to allow them this peace and quiet. Wanting to make the best out of the time he had, Yoochun gradually lowered his body into the nice cool water. He figured since Junsu wanted his company, the least he could do was to relax for this one hour.
His hope of relaxing came crashing down when Junsu saw Yoochun lounging around in the water, the older man had taken one of the pool corner and made himself comfortable. With his arms folding on top of the edge of the pool cushioning his head, Yoochun secretly hope that he could catch a few winks while Junsu played around in the pool. Junsu tsked his lover in annoyance, the reason he asked the pool to be clear out was for them to be able to enjoy each other company, and here Yoochun was totally ignoring him. Junsu grinned evilly as he dove under the water wanting to play a little prank on the older man.
Yoochun let out a content signed as he allowed his body to relax in the nice cool water. Hearing no whining or protest from Junsu, Yoochun figured that the younger man had already forgotten about him and was enjoying himself in the pool.
“CHUNNIE-AH!” Junsu shouted as he jumped out from the water behind Yoochun, scaring the older man.
“SHIT!” Yoochun screamed, turning around to see Junsu grinning cheekily at him. “Junsu, what the hell?”
“Baby-ah.” Junsu pulled Yoochun by the waist, nuzzling his neck as a sign of apology. “What are you standing around for? Go for a swim, join me. Come on, babe.”
Yoochun signed, wrapping his arms around Junsu’s neck, giving into his demanding boyfriend. “You’re so demanding today. If I swim around for a few laps, would you let me relax and catch up on a few of hours of sleep?”
“That would make me very happy.”
“Fine.” Yoochun gave Junsu a short kiss before extracting himself from his lover. “You better keep your promise.” Yoochun shouted as he began to swim a few laps. Junsu shook his head with a smile as he watched his boyfriend swam laps in the pool.
After watching Yoochun swam two laps, Junsu leaned his shoulder and neck back against the smooth edge of the elegant pool. Closing his eyes, Junsu could feel his tense body relaxed under the soothing calm water.
For the third time Yoochun kicked himself off from the pool’s wall as he started another lap. He sped up thinking that if he tired himself out from swimming, then he would probably fell asleep faster and longer later on. On his fourth laps, Yoochun was half way in the middle of the pool when he felt the tingling and tightening of his thigh muscle, and before he knew it pain shot through his entire left leg. The cramps hit him out of the blue leaving him struggling to keep himself afloat and called out to Junsu for help. The more he struggled to keep his head out of the water, the more pain he felt and soon there was another sharp pain ran up his right leg. With both of his legs immobile, Yoochun could only rely on his arms to keep him afloat. Yoochun opened his mouth and screamed out for help, but instead gush of water rushed into his throat and down to his lungs. The last thing Yoochun could remember was him opening his mouth, screaming for Junsu as more water flow down his throat. He could feel himself getting weaker by the seconds and soon his body was too weak to fight and darkness enveloped him, his body slowly sinking down to the bottom of the pool.
Junsu felt himself loosen up as he closed his eyes, ears caught on the soothing sound of Yoochun swimming laps. The sound of the water soothed him, Junsu thought to himself that he and Yoochun should do this more often. He felt his lower region harden up at the thought of him spending time with his lover alone in the pool without the eyes of the other. The things he could do to Yoochun. Scrunching his eyebrows up in confusion, at the unusual quietness around him Junsu tilted his head trying to hear the sound of Yoochun’s feet kicking in the water.
Silence. Not even a sound.
“Well that’s odd.” Junsu thought, snapping his eyes open in alarm as the worst possible thought flashed through his mind.
Scanning his eyes around the now empty pool, Junsu panicked. Just as he was about to shout out Yoochun’s name his eyes caught on something at the bottom of the pool. His eyes widen in terror as he realized that something was his lover, unconscious at the bottom.
Junsu pushed himself away from the edge and dove down to rescue his unconscious lover. Upon reaching him, Junsu swiftly hooked both of his arms under Yoochun’s armpit, supporting the older man body before pushing himself up to the surface. Junsu panted as he half dragged half lifted Yoochun out of the pool laying him down on the cold tile floor. He panicked as he saw the stillness of his lover’s chest.
“OH MY GOD, YOOCHUN!” Junsu panicked, slapping his boyfriend’s cheek gently, hoping that the action itself would awake the older man conscious.
“SHIT.” Junsu slapped Yoochun’s cheek a little harder. “YOOCHUN, THIS IS NOT FUNNY. WAKE UP!”
His eyes were getting blurry as Junsu shook Yoochun a little harder than necessary when his lover still remained motionless.
“NO…NO…NO….I’M SORRY, YOOCHUN-AH. PLEASE WAKE UP.” Junsu cried, as he pounded his fist hard down on to Yoochun’s unmoving chest, right above his ‘Always Keep The Faith’ tattoo.
Yoochun coughed, throwing up the water that had filled his lungs. Junsu cried out in relief, as he quickly rolled Yoochun onto his side, rubbing soothing hand over the older man’s back. “OH GOD…Chunnie…”
“Su…” Yoochun whimpered as the coughing subsided.
“OH! Baby-ah, Thank God!” Junsu cried out in relief as he pulled Yoochun into his embrace, hugging the older man tight against his chest. “I am so sorry.”
Yoochun slump his body against Junsu exhaustedly. “Su-ah, can we go back to our room now?”
“YES! YES! Baby, anything you want.” Junsu exclaimed as he easily scooped Yoochun up into his arms, carrying the older man back to their hotel room.
“HE ALMOST WHAT??!!” Jaejoong shouted.
Junsu visibly winced at the tone. He whispered softly, literally afraid that Jaejoong would most definitely kill him. “Drown.”
Jaejoong rubbed his temple tiredly. It was bad enough that he had encountered enough problems with directing their concert, and Junsu just had to add a new problem to his already hectic life. “Su-ah.” Jaejoong called out. “Come here.”
“Yes, hyung.” Junsu reluctantly walked over to where the older man was sitting before gradually lowering himself next to him.
“Didn’t you knew that he was feeling tired nowadays? With all the filming and our concert rehearsal?” Jaejoong asked, turning his body slightly toward the guilty young man.
“I knew, but I didn’t think he was that exhausted.” Junsu replied. “Seriously though, hyung. If I knew he was that exhausted. I wouldn’t….I would never….” Junsu choked up at the image of his boyfriend lying lifelessly in his arms.
“I know, Junsu-ah.” Jaejoong sighed as he pulled the distraught young man into a hug.
All the tears that he had desperately held in were gone, the moment his face made contact with Jaejoong’s chest. Junsu let his tears fell freely, thinking that it was his selflessness that almost killed his lover. It was his fault that he didn’t really notice how tired Yoochun was.
“I’m sorry.” Junsu gasped, fingers gripping the front of Jaejoong’s shirt as his body raked in small sobs. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s ok, Junsu-ah.” Jaejoong rubbed his back comforting, patiently waiting for Junsu to calm down. “Come on, dry your tears. You don’t want Yoochun to wake up and see you in tears now would you?”
Junsu nodded, pulling away from Jaejoong to wipe away any evidence left of his tears. “Thanks, hyung. And I’m sorry for bothering you.”
Jaejoong waved Junsu away. “Don’t worry about it. Now go take care of that boyfriend of your. You know how he hates waking up and you’re not there.”
“OK, hyung. I’ll see you in a couple of hours.”
“I’ll come get you guys when we’re leaving.”
Junsu closed the door softly as not to disturbed his over exhausted boyfriend. The moment he saw his lover sleeping peacefully on the bed, he could feel the tears threatening to spill over once again. Taking a deep breath to control his emotion, Junsu couldn’t believe that he could be so careless as to danger Yoochun’s life. If something were to happen to Yoochun, Junsu would never forgive himself. Junsu slowly made his way over to the king size bed, and carefully climb into the empty spot next to his lover.
Feeling a warm and familiar body next to his, Yoochun slowly flutter his eyes open only to be met with Junsu’s teary brown eyes.
Junsu forced a smile on his worried face. “Hey Baby-ah, how are you feeling?”
Ignoring the question his boyfriend asked, Yoochun was more focused on the fact that something was troubling Junsu. He could feel the little strength left in his body as he used his arms and strained to push his body up into a sitting position. “What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
“Chunnie! What are you doing? Lie back down.” Junsu exclaimed and effortlessly adjusted his lover’s body back into the previous position. “You shouldn’t be getting up. You should rest.”
“Junsu-ah, I’m fine.” Yoochun said, bringing his hand to lightly smooth away the frown from Junsu’s face.
“NO!” Junsu suddenly shouted, tears slipping down his cheeks. “No, you are not fine. You need to rest. You almost drown for GOD’s sake.”
Yoochun was taken aback by Junsu’s outburst. “So this is what is about? But, Su-ah I’m ok now. See.”
“But you almost weren’t just an hour ago.” Junsu whispered, his eyes shut tight as the image of Yoochun’s unmoving chest came to mind. “Chunnie, you almost died and it was because of my carelessness.”
“What?” Yoochun asked confused. “Junsu, look at me. Please.” Junsu took a deep shuttering breath as he opened his eyes only to be met with Yoochun’s warm brown orbs. “Thank you. Now listen. It wasn’t your fault OK? You wouldn’t have known.”
“Wouldn’t have known?” Junsu chuckled bitterly. “Baby, you have been telling me over and over again that you were tired, and that you wanted to rest. But did I listen? No, I have to force you out of bed and then force you to at least swim some laps.”
Yoochun sighed, and maneuver himself closer to Junsu’s arms, enjoying the warmth that radiated from the younger man. “Yes, I did tell you that I wanted to rest. Yes, I did tell you that I was tired. And Yes, you did ignore everything that I had said.”
Junsu whimpered hearing the truth from Yoochun, himself, broke his already fragile heart eve more. His whimpered soon turned into a surprised gasped as Junsu felt Yoochun’s soft lips pressed against his own in a sweet comforting kiss. Junsu snapped his eyes opened in surprise at Yoochun’s action.
“But,” Yoochun continued, a small smile played across his lips. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here right now. So…” Yoochun bit his lips against a smile that threaten to break free across his face. He gathered all his strength and swiftly straddled Junsu. Leaning close until their lips were only a mere centimeter apart, Yoochun whispered against Junsu’s lips. “In a way Thank You, Susu-ah for saving my life.” With that said, Yoochun kissed Junsu as best as he knew how.
Yoochun shushed him another kissed. “No, buts. It wasn’t your fault Junsu-ah. You wouldn’t have known that I would get cramps. Please don’t blame yourself anymore.”
“OK” Junsu gave into Yoochun’s pleading. He wasn’t going to deny his lover anything. Not after what had just happened. “But you can’t tell me to stop pampering you because I won’t. I refused to.”
Yoochun giggled. “Well, I wouldn’t say no to that.”
“Good.” Junsu growled as he flipped their position, boxing Yoochun against the mattress. “I think it’s time to stop talking none sense. I still need to pamper my baby and nursed him back to health.”
“Oh yes, please do.” Yoochun threw his arms around Junsu’s neck as they kiss passionately.
